No Charm Done is the third book in the Oak Haven Witches series, but it absolutely can be read as a standalone. However, if you do read it as a standalone some of the plot points of the previous books will be revealed to you. But this shouldn’t detract from the reading experience in any way.
I had such a fun time reading No Charm Done. It is fast-paced and quirky, perfect for fans of Gilmore Girls and Practical Magic. The rivalry between witches and magicians was intriguing, as well as the chaos created by the town’s charm that makes non-witches forget everything that happened when they are in Oak Haven.
There were some genuine laugh out loud moments in this book. Watching Elias from 1926 try to navigate the world in 2026 was great. I love a time travel plot, and this one was done well. The characters and town were also really special. Oak Haven sounds like the perfect cosy witchy town with a delightfully quirky cast of characters.
Overall, I had a great time reading this book and would recommend it for anyone who loves a fast-paced and quirky witchy romance.
